Bringing cinema to your doorstep

Cine North is about bringing the community together in rural areas through cinema events and by event we mean watching great films together and creating fun, social events that could include dressing up, food, music, games and other activities, perhaps inspired by the film’s themes.

We offer community venues and individuals in Yorkshire and Cumbria, Lancashire and Tees Valley a tailored package of training, technical advice, screening equipment, programming and promotional support, enabling them to screen a diverse cinema programme, chosen by and presented in partnership with local audiences.

From village halls to stately homes, festivals and arts centres, we work with partners and venues to screen a rich programme of cinema, from the latest homegrown independent films, to silver screen classics, art-house favourites, Hollywood hits, world cinema gems and films for younger audiences.

Click here for an interactive map showing all of the Cine North venues. You'll also find contact details, venue addresses and other useful information on there too.

COVID 19

We are working with our venues to help and support them to reopen as and when they are ready. All of the participating venues are doing everything to create a safe environment for guests and are following all recommended COVID-19 precautions and regulations.

Please contact your desired venue for more information including film screening times, ticket prices, etc. Contact details for each venue can be found on the interactive map located under the 'venues' link.
